How to Request Account Deletion
If you created an account in MAIV using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, you can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
- Send an email to support@scripturai.ai with the subject
line:
"Account Deletion Request – MAIV" - Include the email address you used to sign in (Apple or Google account).
- We will confirm once your account and data have been permanently deleted.
What Data Is Deleted
- Your email address used for sign-in (Apple or Google)
- Any passkey credentials linked to your account
Currently, MAIV does not store any personal notes, preferences, or content beyond these identifiers.
Data Retention
Deleted data is permanently removed within 30 days of your verified request. Limited, non-identifiable logs may be retained for security and compliance purposes only.
Clear Local Data
You can clear any data stored locally by the MAIV app at any time:
- In the MAIV app: Open the Settings page, scroll to the bottom, and tap “Clear Local Data” to remove cached Bible content, preferences, and offline data from your device.
- Alternatively: You can uninstall the MAIV app from your device, which automatically removes all local data stored by the app.
These options only affect data stored locally on your device. Any account-related data stored securely in the cloud (such as your email or passkey) must be deleted using the account deletion request process.
Future Data and Subscriptions
Future versions of MAIV may include optional subscription data or personalized content. These will also be fully deletable upon request using the same process.
